Beaux produits et jolis emballages, les deux conçus par Jason et Jordan, l’équipe de Enormous Champion de Brooklyn, NY. « The Kingdom Animalia« , une collection de 15 animaux différents fabriqués à partir de bois exploités de façon durable, découpés au laser puis élaborés à la main avec des produits non-toxiques (pas de COVs-Composés Organiques Volatils) est juste parfaite pour décorer une crèche, une chambre de bébé ou enfant et tout autre espace de ce genre. Beautiful products and lovely packagings, both designed by Jason and Jordan, the team of Enormous Champion based in Brooklyn, NY. « The Kingdom Animalia« , a collection of 15 different animals made of sustainably harvested wood, laser cut then hand-finished with non-toxic products (no VOCs-Volatile Organic Compounds) is just perfect for decorating a (day) nursery, kid’s room and the like. SARA RIBBENSTEDT, MATILDA DOMINIQUE // just another toy - photos : Henrik Bengtsson

Just another toy est le fruit de la première collaboration de Sara Ribbenstedt et Matilda Dominique pour leur thèse à l’Ecole de Textiles de Borås. Ce jouet en trois-dimensions est constitué de cubes de mousse habillés de tissus à motifs différents et permet aux enfants de chercher et trouver des formes spécifiques à l’objet selon l’utilisation qu’ils veulent en avoir. Les deux designers ont fait appel au célèbre fabricant suédois Offecct pour réaliser un prototype ; on attend maintenant sa commercialisation après quelques expositions à Borås, Göteborg et Stockholm.

Just another toy is the result of the first collaboration between Sara Ribbenstedt and Matilda Dominique for their thesis at the School of Textiles in Borås. This three-dimensional toy consists of foam rubber cubes dressed in fabrics with various patterns and allows kids to try and find specific object shapes according to what use they want it to have. The two designers appealed to the famous swedish manufacturer Offecct so as to make a prototype ; we are now waiting for this distribution after some exhibitions in Borås, Gothenburg and Stockholm.
