Elle sera en exposition au Salon du Meuble de Milan, Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2010, du 14 au 19 Avril. On espère que différentes couleurs seront disponibles… (via)

BABYCOTPOD // cascara bassinet for babies

En Juin dernier, nous avions déjà parlé de ce berceau au look futuriste conçu par Babycotpod et comme prototype en cours. La marque vient d’annoncer le lancement de deux gammes en 2010 : Metro et Cascara. Nous avons une préférence pour la dernière mais les deux valent le coup d’oeil en attendant l’ouverture de leur boutique en ligne.

Last June, we already posted about this futuristic style bassinet designed by Babycotpod as prototypes in progress. The brand has announced the launch of two ranges in 2010 : Metro and Cascara. We have a preference for this last one but both are worth seeing before the opening of their online store.

You certainly already know them… but we realize that we never posted something about Petit Pan‘s creations on this blog. We particularly like some of their Asian-inspired decorative kites and trophies that you will find scattered here and there all over the world.

Comment créer à partir de mobilier vintage ? C’est la question que le designer Français Patrick Le Ray a toujours en tête. Transformer une vieille assise en Formica en une chaise pour enfants super fun n’est pas chose aisée… C’est un véritable travail de création et savoir-faire. Et même si elles ne sont pas spécifiquement dédiées à l’enfant, ses autres pièces valent le coup d’oeil et sans doute plus.

How to design from vintage furniture ? That’s the question the French designer Patrick Le Ray has always in mind. Turning an old Formica seat into a great & fun chair for kids is no easy matter… It’s a real creative work and know-how. And even if they do not specifically dedicate to kids, his other pieces are worth seeing and probably more.
