SÓNARKIDS // festival of music and creative experiences for kids and parents

Le célèbre Sónar crée SónarKids, un nouveau festival de musique et des ateliers de création pour enfants et parents, qui se tiendra à Barcelone (MACBA) le Dimanche 21 Juin. Des artistes reconnus espagnols et internationaux adapteront leurs travaux artistiques à une plus jeune audience et beaucoup d’activités seront proposées pour encourager la créativité des enfants : ateliers de DJ, skating & fingerskating, illustration, masterclass de hip hop, sónarmàtica… Vous ne pouvez passer à côté si vous êtes ou prévoyés d’être à Barcelone ce jour-là !

The famous Sónar creates SónarKids, a new festival of music and creative workshops for kids and parents, which will be held in Barcelona (MACBA) on Sunday June 21. Renowned spanish and international artists will adapt their artworks to younger audience and a lot of activities will be offered to stimulate the children’s creativity : DJ workshop, skating & fingerskating, illustration, hip hop masterclass, sónarmàtica… You can’t let this event pass you by if you are or plan to be in Barcelona this day !

PININFARINA // Giulia rocking horse for kids

Le Pininfarina Research Centre a conçu en 2008 un original cheval à bascule pour enfants appelé Giulia, provenant d’une seule pièce de cèdre, simplement agrémenté d’une belle poignée en cuir. Un très beau design pour un objet ludique dans toute sa simplicité. On adore !

The Pininfarina Research Centre designed in 2008 an original rocking horse for children called Giulia, that derives from a single piece of cedarwood, just enriched by a leather-covered handle. A very handsome design for an object of play in all simplicity. Love it !

LIPFISH // fun clothes for kids

« Quand l’habit devient jouet » pourrait être une accroche intéressante pour concevoir une ligne de vêtements pour enfants. C’est vrai, non ? Pourquoi les vêtements ne pourraient-ils pas stimuler l’imagination des enfants et leur donner envie de jouer ? Aussi bien Lipfish que Ubang proposent des collections pour enfants colorées et amusantes sur cette idée. Mais si nous trouvons autre chose, promis, nous partagerons nos découvertes ici. A suivre !

« When clothes become toys » could be an interesting baseline for designing a kids clothes line. That’s true, no ? Why clothes couldn’t stimulate children’s imagination and inspire them to play ? Both LipFish and Ubang offer colourful and fun clothes collections on this idea. But if we find other stuff, we promise to share them here. To be continued !
