JAMES PERSE // limited edition tricycle

Le tricyle de James Perse est (ou était puisqu’il est déjà sold out…) un design si 1970’s pour enfants de 1½ à 4 ans, fait de grosses roues super robustes, d’un revêtement en peinture pulvérisée pour une ultra-résistance aux chocs et d’un plateau en teck. Tellement chic, non ?

The James Perse Tricycle is (or was as it is already sold out…) a so 1970’s inspired design for kids aged 1½ to 4 years, made with heavy duty steel, powder coated for superior chip resistance and teak wood deck. So stylish no ?

ADRIEN ROVERO // skinni

Adrien Rovero vient de présenter son nouveau projet appelé Skinni pendant la Vienna Design Week. Faits en collaboration avec le fabricant de cuir Thomas Posenanski, ces jouets pour enfants sont découpés via une machine assistée par ordinateur, pliés en formes d’animaux et fermés par des attaches en caoutchouc. Le designer raconte que « le projet vise à transformer symboliquement une matière issue d’animaux en animaux ». Qu’en pensez-vous ?

Adrien Rovero has shown his new project called Skinni during the Vienna Design Week. Made in collaboration with leather manufacturer Thomas Posenanski, these toys for kids are cut with a computer-controlled machine, folded into animal shapes and secured with rubber fasteners. The designer tells that « the project aims to symbolically turn waste material derived from animals back into animals ». What do you think about this ?

PLAYSHAPES by MILLER GOODMAN // playful educational toy

PlayShapes, jeu de 74 formes géométriques en bois conçu par le génial Miller Goodman et lancé à la Tent London lors du London Design Festival, aura sans aucun doute un succès fou pour Noël ! Un projet très intéressant de Sara Johansson qui a débuté en 2007 à l’Ecole d’Architecture et Design d’Oslo, dans le cadre du projet de recherches Touch. Sniff is a soft toy dog but not only… The wireless technology allows him to ‘sniff’ and react to objects that come close to his nose ! A very interesting project by Sara Johansson that started in 2007 at Oslo School of Architecture and Design, as part of the Touch research project.
