Nous aurions vraiment besoin d’un Monstrum en France… de façon à ce que tous les enfants aient des aires de jeux aussi incroyables que La Baleine Bleue du parc Plitka, Götenborg (SE) !

We would really need one Monstrum in France… so that all kids would have such amazing playgrounds as The Blue Whale in the Plitka park, Gothenburg (SE) !

Le populaire jeu interactif pour enfants de l’artiste contemporaine Yayoi Kusama a pris une autre dimension avec son Obliteration Room qui proposait aux enfants de donner vie à une maison standard Australienne toute blanche (installée dans la Children’s Art Centre Gallery – Goma, Brisbane-AU) avec des stickers de pois colorés. Chouette concept. Cela me fait penser à une certaine marque d’accessoires de décoration pour chambres d’enfants et aux images utilisées pour présenter leurs stickers muraux géants… vous connaissez e-glue ?! The popular interactive game for kids by contemporary artist Yayoi Kusama has taken a new scale with her Obliteration Room that allowed kids to give life to a typical Australian home all in white (set up in the Children’s Art Centre Gallery – Goma, Brisbane-AU) with colorful dot stickers. Great concept. It makes me think of a certain brand of kids room decor accessories and the pictures used for featuring their giant wall decals… do you know e-glue ?! Thanks Alex ♥

La boîte à jouet est l’un des éléments les plus importants d’un espace pour enfants. Avec ceci en tête, nous voulions concevoir un meuble de rangement pour enfants au style épuré, amusant, pratique et original. C’est ainsi que Quackie, notre mobilier contemporain canard en bois, est né. A vrai dire, il a maintenant 3 ans… mais nous le gardions au chaud en attendant le bon moment pour le mettre en lumière ! Facile à déplacer avec son bec et ses belles roues jaunes, notre canard à tête bleue deviendra à coup sûr un meuble-personnage essentiel dans n’importe quelle chambre d’enfant. Nous lançons généralement ici des appels pour d’autres designers ; aujourd’hui nous lançons pour nous-mêmes un appel à fabricant/éditeur qui serait intéressé par un tel projet ! A toy box is one of the most important furniture in a kid’s room. With this in mind, we wanted to create a fun, useful, unique and clean lined storage piece for children. That’s the way Quackie, our wooden modern design duck-shaped furniture, is born. To be honest, it’s now 3 years old… but we put it in a safe place and were waiting for the right time to bring it to light ! Easy to move with its yellow beak and nice wheels, our blue-headed duck will definitely become a main character furniture in any kid’s bedroom. We usually make appeals here for other designers ; today, it’s for ourselves we call for a manufacturer/editor who would be interested in a such project ! PAM TIM // unique time-learning picto watch for kids

Nous avions déjà présenté le concept de cette montre sans chiffres… Utilisant des pictogrammes, cette méthode unique d’apprentissage de l’heure pour les enfants de 3 à 7 ans revient sous le nom de Pam Tim et propose maintenant des coffrets montre pour enfants contenant : une montre à pictogrammes, un livret pédagogique, une montre à aiguilles et un jeu de cartes memory ! Bref, tout le matériel nécessaire pour donner aux enfants une première approche du Présent, Passé et Futur Proche et leur permettre de garder la notion du temps jusqu’à ce qu’ils soient assez grands pour lire les chiffres. We already featured the concept of this watch that doesn’t have any numbers… Using pictograms, this unique time-learning method for children aged 3 to 7 comes back under the name Pam Tim and offers now kid watch boxsets that contain : one pictogram watch, one educational booklet, one analog watch and one memory card game ! In short, all required materials to give kids the notion of Present, Past and Near Future and allow them to keep track of time until they’re old enough to read numbers. More infos here.
