Ca y est ! Nous avons reçu un exemplaire de Growing Graphics – design for kids (de Vicky Eckert, Efrén Zúñiga et Ana Freixa – Editeur : Index Book, lang. EN ou ES, 272 pages – Juin 2009). Le livre ouvre une fenêtre sur le riche univers visuel pour enfants de tous âges, présentant une multitude d’illustrations dont quelques-unes d’e-glue ! En voici quelques images…

That’s it ! We have just received a copy of Growing Graphics – design for kids (by Vicky Eckert, Efrén Zúñiga et Ana Freixa – Publisher : Index Book, lang. EN or ES, 272 pages – June 2009). The book opens a window to the rich visual universe for children of different ages, presenting a multitude of graphics, among those some of e-glue ! Here are some pictures…

ARTIKIDS by E-GLUE // ENZO’S ROOM

Comment le dessin d’Enzo s’est transformé, comme par magie, en stickers muraux géants pour décorer sa chambre de petit garçon ? Avec notre service sur mesure Artikids, tout simplement ! Nous avons reçu son dessin sur une feuille de papier A4 et l’avons reproduit selon les dimensions et spécifications demandées. Il a ensuite suffit à Enzo de coller tous ses adhésifs décoratifs avec l’aide de sa Maman et de contempler son chef-d’oeuvre en grand, à l’échelle de sa chambre. Mais peut-être avez-vous vu le reportage diffusé sur France 2 (Télématin) la semaine dernière… ?

How the Enzo’s drawing has been turned, as though by magic, into giant wall stickers for decorating his little boy’s room ? With our tailor-made service Artikids, quite simply ! We received his drawing on a A4 sheet of paper and reproduced it according to requested sizes and specifications. Then, all Enzo had to do was stick all his wall decals with the help of his Mom and look at his masterpiece in large, on his room scale. But perhaps you watched the report released on France 2 (Public French Channel – Télématin) last week… ?

Il y a quelques mois, nous avions déjà présenté ce sticker mural enfant de cage de foot comme produit réalisé sur demande. Aujourd’hui, nous l’ajoutons à notre catalogue de stickers enfants à l’unité dans les motifs XXL puisque ses dimensions sont 160×100 cm. Super décor pour une chambre de petit garçon !

PAGE ONE PUBLISHING // span – the boundary between space and graphics

Comme annoncé sur notre page Facebook et sur Twitter il y a quelques jours, nous avons enfin reçu un exemplaire de Span – the boundary between space and graphics (trad. « la frontière entre espace et illustrations » – Page One Publishing, lang. EN, 250 pages). Ce livre présente une large variété d’éléments graphiques ainsi que leur application dans différents espaces : 5.5 Designers (FR), Jon Burgerman (UK), Ja!Studio (ES), Motorfinger (NO), Pandarosa (AU), Rinzen (AU/DE), Lee Jang Sub (KR), Poulin+Morris (US), Void Planing (KR), Paris Airport (FR), etc… L’utilisation d’éléments visuels ne montrent pas seulement toute la philosophie de la décoration dans l’espace mais crée aussi une plus grande interaction avec le public. Span est aussi un regard sur la relation visuelle qui unit graphique et espace : installation, stand, illustrations intérieure et extérieure, revêtement mural, etc… Le concept e-glue de considérer l’espace pour enfants comme une page blanche à illustrer exemplifie parfaitement la thématique du livre et a donc été sélectionné pour y être présenté en 3 double pages ! As announced on our Facebook page and on Twitter few days ago, we finally received a copy of Span – the boundary between space and graphics (Page One Publishing, lang. EN, 250 pages). This book features a variety of graphic elements and their application in different spaces : 5.5 Designers (FR), Jon Burgerman (UK), Ja!Studio (ES), Motorfinger (NO), Pandarosa (AU), Rinzen (AU/DE), Lee Jang Sub (KR), Poulin+Morris (US), Void Planing (KR), Paris Airport (FR), etc… The visual elements do not only display the philosophy of spatial decoration, but also create a great interaction with audience, providing many insights into the visual relationship between graphics and space : installation, stand, interior & exterior graphics, wallcovering, etc… The e-glue concept of considering kids’ space as a blank page for illustration perfectly exemplifies the book’s theme and thus was selected to be featured in it through 3 double pages !
